She has written 3 books to date and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the University of London in 2024. She presents the internationally acclaimed Empire podcast with William Dalrymple. Dr Liz Bellamy is a writer and teaches English for the Open University. She has a book called The Language of Fruit: Literature and Horticulture in the Long Eighteenth Century, which explores the symbolic, literary, and cultural significance of fruit across genres and historical periods.
