Tom Service explores the latest in new music with tracks from Dai Fujikura and Zoe Martlew and from Marianne Schofield and Hermes Experiment and the Copenhagen Clarinet Choir. And, to mark the centenary this weekend of the birth of Luciano Berio, Tom revisits the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra's Italian Radicals Total Immersion event with music by Berio himself and by his friends and contemporaries Luigi Nono and Bruno Maderna. And, at the heart of the programme, a performance from Munich conducted by Simon Rattle of Berio's Laborintus II, a white-hot piece of music theatre written to mark the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri.
