World Football

Available for over a year

We're in South Africa to assess the country's preparations for the World Cup, which kicks off in less than a year. World Football visits the re-built Soccer City Stadium, on the edge of Soweto, that's going to the venue for the two most important games of the tournament. The safety of supporters is high on the agenda and security chiefs tell us that all the cities hosting games will be safe. Danny Jordan, the man credited with bringing the tournament to Africa, for the first time, discusses the issues facing the hosts with presenter Alan Green.
