World Routes

Available for over a year

In search of traditional music, Lucy Duran travels to two of the remotest parts of Greece. This week she visits Epirus, high up in the north on the Albanian border. As well as the ancient and now almost lost art of polyphony, the region is famous for its clarinet tradition. She meets its greatest exponent Petroloukas Chalkias who performs an exclusive set for the programme.
