A Kist o Wurds

Available for over a year

We find out how a Woody Guthrie song, ‘The Ballad of Tom Joad’ which tells the story of the film ‘The Grapes of Wrath’, has an Ulster-Scots link. Kist pays tribute to Guthrie and also to Steinbeck, author of The Grapes of Wrath, whose grandfather was a Hamilton from Ballykelly in Ulster. The presenter is Willie Drennan.
