A Bedouin tent

World Routes

Available for over a year

Night falls on the desert: Moshe Morad follows the sounds of music to a tent in the middle of the desert, where a Hafla (music party) is taking place. Bedouin men are sitting on the sand with ouds (Arabic lute), darbukka (hand- held drum) and rebaba (a traditional Bedouin fiddle-like instrument made from goat skin and the tail of a racing horse), sipping coffee, playing and singing .
