John and Jim both started working at Reading's iconic Huntley & Palmer biscuit factory as apprentices. The factory, which once dominated the town, finally ended its manufacturing in 1976. Both John and Jim enjoyed working there and the sense of community the factory created. Here they look back at some of the characters, some of the smells, the good times and the bad of working for Huntley & Palmer.
