David grew up with a love of valves, bakelite and all things wireless; he even followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a broadcast engineer. Since retiring he’s continued in his passion for the history of radio by volunteering as Technical Curator at the Wireless in Wales museum in Denbigh. He tells Sharon how vintage radio technology shaped the twentieth century.
