Gaynor and Kirsteen have been friends since they first met in a sweaty school cloakroom. They've shared teenage crushes, been backpacking in Australia, settled down with their partners and mostly laughed their way through the last three decades. More recently though, they have leant on each other in times of crisis. Gaynor's second son was born with a life threatening heart condition and Kirsteen has faced serious illness - here they talk about how their friendship has been a source of strength for both of them.
