When children find themselves falling behind with their school work it can be a worrying and frustrating time for them. But for many families they simply can't afford added support, like a tutor, to help them catch up. Hirda UK is project funded by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Children in Need and gives intensive study support to children and young people who are underachieving. Many of the children are close to being excluded because they are so far behind. The project improves the well-being and educational attainment of young Somali children who live in on the St. Matthews estate in Leicester. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Leicesters Kristina Hrywnak went over to the project to see how it is making a difference.
