We often hear about old crafts dying out and there's no doubt that many of them are under threat, and yet, more often than not there's always someone keeping up the tradition. Take walking sticks for example. Now you can go and buy any number of mass produced ones, but how about ones made in the same way they've been made for hundreds of years out of bits of wood scavenged from woodland and hedgerows. Derrick Kitcherside, from north west Leicestershire, is one of those keeping up a tradition, he still makes walking sticks the old fashioned way.
