His latest novel How To Get Filthy Rich In Rising Asia, which takes the shape of a business self-help book is a boldly imagined tale of a man's journey from impoverished rural boy to corporate tycoon. Anna McNamee catches up with the New Orleans based brass band Hot 8, which was propelled to wider prominence by an appearance in Spike Lee's 2006 documentary in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
