A review set up in the wake of the P-I-P implants scandal says the cosmetic surgery industry must be better regulated. The industry is believed to be worth more than two billion pounds a year. The review is being led by NHS Medical Director Professor Sir Bruce Keogh to ensure practitioners are better trained and patients are not abandoned when things go wrong.
