Charity launches youth mentoring network with help of churches - Northampton

Mark Dean

Available for over a year

A London school turned to the church for help to bring morals back to its pupils, following a stabbing. The project was so successful it has grown into a national charity that's launching a youth mentoring scheme which people in Northamptonshire were invited to join on the Inspirations radio show. XLP provides churches with the tools to train volunteer mentors, who will support young people and families. In this extract, its founder Patrick Regan OBE, explains its growth to Virginia Brown.
