Mum and her 'new' daughter talk about being a transgender in Middlesbrough. Five years ago twenty nine year old Keith told his mum that he wanted to be a women, and he lost eleven stone, changed his name to Hinoi and started on hormone treatment. Mum always wanted a boy, but she has supported her sons transformation into a women, and hopes her gender reassignment surgery will finally make her happy. The transition has not been an easy one, with some hostile reactions from the local community, and having to adjust to being in the limelight after living at home as a recluse for the past twenty years.
