Bolton's Maxine Peake has given the first performance of "The masque of Anarchy" as part of the Manchester International Festival. She was reading a poem by Shelley, written in response to The Peterloo Massacre- which happened here in Manchester in 1819 when cavalry charged into a crowd of more than 60 thousand people who had gathered to demand reform of parliament. Manchester tour guide and Peterloo expert Ed Glinert went to see it and spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Manchester's Allan Beswick.
