Shereen talks to Xara Vaughan who left school and made her fortunes as a Stringfellow's Angel but after losing her mother decided to try the life of a Buddhist nun and work in an orphanage in the Himalayas. Add to that a brief flirtation with punk and you'll see that Xara Vaughan has had quite a life. And she's still only 34, Xara's next journey takes her to traditional cabaret and she's making her debut at the Fringe next month.
