More than 100,000 people have been killed in the conflict in Syria, that's according to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Millions of people have either been displaced or become refugees in neighbouring countries. Last week Zeshaan Ali, a fundraiser for Birmingham’s Islamic Relief, flew out to Syria to help carry out aid work with the charity.
