Midlands Masala with Gagan Grewal

Available for over a year

A couple from Tipton are appealing to Asian donors to help their son. Gaurav suffers from a rare condition called monosomy 7 which means without a bone marrow transplant he could develop an aggressive form of childhood leukaemia. As part of their hunt for a match his parents are encouraging more families from the Asian community to come forward and join the bone marrow donor register. In this extract taken from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ WM’s Midlands Masala, presenter Arshia Riaz speaks to Gaurav’s father Sunny Bains… This extract was taken from last Sunday's show. Gaurav's sister was not a match so the family are still looking for a donor.
