Civil partners Margaret and Sheila are long-time peace protesters. They'd spent many a rainy weekend up at Faslane, alongside other British protests. This time, however, they were travelling as part of a non-violent protest group to the West Bank village of Nabi Salih. A village has been established on the spot for over 400-years, but little has happened to grab international attention until more recent years since the confiscation of the village’s spring by the nearby Israeli settlement of Halamish in 2009. This prompted regular Friday protest marches, ostensibly peaceful ones, and this is what Sheila and Margaret found themselves involved in when things took a surprising turn…
