Why: "I grew up with her hits on the radio, but it wasn’t until I started buying her CDs in the early 90s that I came to appreciate her not only as a singer but as a prolific songwriter too. I was beside myself with excitement a couple of years later when it was announced that she would be bringing her Evolution World Tour to my hometown of Durban, South Africa! Then, a random chain of events saw Gloria inviting me (yes, I know – unbelievable – but true!) to an after show Meet & Greet! A brilliant end to a truly fantastic show!"
