UFC was once described as 'human cockfighting' by the former Presidential candidate, Senator John McCain. But it's now shown in 130 countries worldwide, and is looking to expand rapidly into new markets - including Europe. But following the loss of one of its biggest names - Anderson Silva - described by the owner of UFC Dana White as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time - to injury, is it unlikely to gain popularity in Europe? His broken leg came only a month after UFC also lost Georges St-Pierre - who handed back his welterweight belt and announced he was taking an indefinite break after a particularly messy fight in which he'd lost sight from his right eye... And a bit of his memory. Dotun spoke to Steven Salaga, an assistant professor of sport management business at the Florida Institute of Technology, who's written about UFC's business model - and first, to the MMA commentator Sean 'The Big Wheel' Wheelock.
