Joe Haines on Tony Benn

Ian Collins

Available for over a year

Politicians on all sides have been remembering Tony Benn - the former Labour cabinet minister, activist and diarist, who died at his home early this morning aged 88. David Cameron was among those to praise the left-wing Labour politician - saying he was "extraordinary" and never boring. But Harold Wilson's former press secretary Joe Haines told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Kent's Ian Collins that Mr Benn could be a destructive force who symbolised left-wing nuttiness.
