Jim Davis in conversation with comedy legend Ken Dodd. Ken won the Leicester Mercury's Legend of Comedy competition. The result of the public vote was announced at an awards ceremony held at The Grand Hotel on Granby Street. He beat off competition from the likes of Victoria Wood, Lenny Henry and Jasper Carrot to claim the prize and turned up in person to collect his award. After the event, he told Jim how 'tickled' he was to win and was amazed what Jim was recording the interview with!
