The number of people treated for injuries caused by violence has fallen sharply, to its lowest level for more than a decade, a report has said. The survey, by the Violence and Society Research Group at Cardiff University, of more than a hundred medical centres in England and Wales suggests there's been a 12 per cent drop over the past year. It said an increase in alcohol prices could be responsible for a reduction in binge drinking and the drop in violence.
