Manchester United have denied reports from the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf that Louis van Gaal has agreed a deal to become the new manager. Marcel van der Kraan, who broke the story for the paper, said: "There was huge offer from Tottenham on the table and it was either going to be that one or Manchester United.
