UKIP's Deputy Chairman, Neil Hamilton, says remarks about Lenny Henry made by a local election candidate doesn't mean the party is racist. He was speaking on Pienaar's Politics after it emerged that William Henwood, who was due to stand for UKIP in council elections in Enfield, north London had tweeted that Lenny Henry should emigrate to a "black country" and compared Islam to the Third Reich. Mr Henwood said he did not think the messages were offensive. Neil Hamilton accused other political parties of scouring social media to find stories to discredit UKIP.
