Ross Hutchins 'can't give enough praise' for Baltacha

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

British tennis player Ross Hutchins remembers Elena Baltacha after she lost her battle with liver cancer. The former British number one has passed away, aged 30. Born in Ukraine and raised in Scotland, she learned she had the disease in January - just two months after retiring from professional tennis. Hutchins, who battled Hodgkin's lymphoma last year, told Nicky Campbell, "It's incredibly sad news but we will remember her for a long time". He also told Nicky about the Rally Against Cancer charity event - 'Rally For Bally' - which will take place on Sunday 15 June. First broadcast on 5 live Breakfast, 5th May 2014.
