In the first of two programmes recorded in South Africa, Charles Hazlewood leads a workshop on the rich and varied musical tradition of the Xhosa people of the Western Cape. Performing the songs and talking to Charles about their unique musical heritage are members of the award winning music theatre company of which he is Music Director – Dimpho di Kopane.
