Author Sunny Singh on facing racism

Sunny and Shay

Available for over a year

Reserach has revealed that nearly a third of people in Britain admitted to being racially prejudiced. Some 30% of the 2,000 people polled by social research company NatCen described themselves as either "very" or "a little" race prejudiced. In this extract taken from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ London 94.9, author Sunny Singh speaks to presenters Sunny and Shay on their show. She talks about how the rise in prejudice figures came to light at a time when she and her family were victims of racism.
