The writer and author Bonnie Greer is familiar to us through her writing and regular appearances on our TV screens. But what do we know of this American playwright's story who has made England her home? Well she grew up during a time of civil rights unrest and this had a major impact on her life. She has now written a memoir of her life called A Parallel Life and she is touring the UK to talk about her life experiences as documented in her book.
