Widdecombe on female MPs: 'Positive discrimination not answer'

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

David Cameron is expected to make wholesale change in a cabinet reshuffle. He's previously said that he'd like to see at least a third of his ministerial roles held by women, so some are expecting to see more female faces in the top jobs. But former MP Ann Widdecombe said positive discrimination is "remarkably silly" and that she "never noticed sexist behaviour" in Westminster. This clip is originally from Stephen Nolan on Saturday 13th July 2014.
