New visa rules for elderly

Asian Network Reports

Available for over a year

In the past, if you wanted to bring your parents over from places like India and Pakistan to the UK, you just had to convince the authorities you had the money to look after them. Now, you have to prove they're too ill to look after themselves and have no one else. It's left many British Asians families in limbo. Our reporter Divya Talwar has been speaking to people affected by the change in visa rules.
