Dr Hosam Abu-Elwan is a doctor for Medecins du Monde and has been treating those injured in the Gaza conflict. In a report he sent 5 live Breakfast he says "The number of wounded has decreased but the number of martyrs has increased". More than a thousand Palestinians have been killed since Israel began its offensive earlier this month; forty eight Israeli soldiers and three civilians have too.
