In a special event recorded at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, Ron Butlin, writer, poet and former Edinburgh Makar, discusses the profound effects of memory loss with debut novelist Emma Healey, in a session chaired by Jenny Niven, Portfolio Manager for Literature, Publishing and Languages at Creative Scotland. In this moving session both writers discuss how they have worked with memory loss in their latest novels, drawing on personal experiences, to create compelling new work.
