Bomb disposal on the Gaza Strip

World Update

Available for over a year

Not all missiles fired in conflicts explode where they land, so bomb disposal units have the task to make them safe. It is a dangerous job - on Wednesday five people were killed in an explosion in Gaza. Members of a bomb disposal team and two journalists died as efforts were being made to try to dismantle an Israeli missile. Times of London reporter, Bel Trew met with one the bomb disposal team and gave her reaction to learning of the deaths.
