A Conservative MP has called for soldiers to be put "on the ground" in Iraq to combat the threat of Islamic State militants (IS). Colonel Bob Stewart, a member of the Commons defence committee, said sending humanitarian aid to the country would "not stop someone who wants to behead you". It comes after an American journalist, James Foley, was beheaded by an IS extremist earlier in the month. Stewart, an ex-soldier, said, "They're laughing at our laws... We've got to look carefully at how we stop people who are determined to do us great harm." This clip is originally from Shelagh Fogarty on Monday 25 August 2014.
