Episode details

Available for over a year
Jackie and Julie both live with the loss of children. They discuss the impact of that grief on their lives today and the love they still hold for Hannah, Francesca and Josephine. The mums first met in 1995 at North Devon’s children’s hospice (Little Bridge House), where they ‘ate ice cream, laughed and cried’. Jackie’s daughter Hannah, and Julie’s twins Francesca and Josephine, were subject to sanfilippo syndrome (MPSIII) – a life-limiting genetic condition. In this conversation, the mums discuss living with loss and their love for their children.
