Australian surfers will not be put off going in the sea, despite a shark attack that killed a British man, a coastal monitoring body says. Paul Wilcox, who was originally from Warwickshire, died after being attacked by a great white shark just off Byron Bay in New South Wales. The 50-year-old IT specialist had been living in Australia for more than 10 years. Michael Hogan, from Coastwatch, said shark attacks were "statistically rare" in Byron Bay and swimmers "would not worry" about it happening again. This clip is originally from Drive on Tuesday September 9 2014.
