A British ex-pat has been killed by a great white shark off the coast of Byron Bay in Australia. Paul Wilcox, 50, originally from Warwickshire, was swimming when the shark attacked him. His mother, Marie: "I spoke to him 12 hours before this dreadful thing happened. The last thing I said to my son, as a mother you're always saying it, 'keep safe, keep safe'.
