The Campaign for Real Ale's latest "good beer guide" comes out today - and it reveals a significant rise in the amount of micro-breweries in our region. It's a trend mirrored nationally: according to CAMRA's research, the UK has the most breweries per head of population in the entire world. New on the scene in the last 12 months are the Crystal brewery in Brough, Atom in Hull and Half Moon in Ellerton west of Market Weighton. There's also a new micro brewery in a pub in Bridlington, where we had to FORCE our reporter James Piekos to sample a swift half with landlady Helen Norman yesterday lunchtime....
