5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Ex Northern Ireland secretary, Tom King, said Ian Paisley was "a menace" but the two later became "quite good friends". His reaction has come following the news that Mr Paisley, who was the former Democratic Unionist Party leader, has died aged 88. Mr King said in his early days, Mr Paisley "stirred some deep passions" but that he always had "a good sense of humour". This clip is originally from the Dominic Lawrie programme on Friday September 12 2014.
