But haulage firms in Leicester are warning a desperate shortage of drivers could leave many disappointed this year. Thousands of older drivers are retiring, while new ones are being put off by the amount of accreditation and training needed. Leicestershire's always been a popular place for haulage companies - like DHL and Pallex, with its central location - and links to the M1.
