The author James Frey has hidden $500,000 worth of gold in a box and left clues to the treasure's location in his new book, Endgame: The Calling. Readers have to solve a puzzle in order to find the keys to the treasure box, which is hidden in the Las Vegas Caesars Palace hotel. Frey said he wrote the book after being inspired by a 1970s children's book by Kip Williams, which left clues for readers to find a hidden golden rabbit.
