British yodeller, Lynne Butler, has described how "anyone can" yodel and teaches 5 live's Tony Livesey the techniques as it is in contention to gain Unesco world heritage status. Unesco world heritage status is usually reserved for buildings and sites of natural beauty such as the Taj Mahal and Stonehenge, but the Swiss government are planning to request that the Alpine art of yodelling is added to the list of world's protected "intangible heritage".
