Diana and Elise both grew up near each other in Co Down, and went to boarding school in England, where a geography teacher inspired a love of travel, with exotic tales of Peru and the Himalayas. However, both would raise families before they finally seized the chance to go skiing together, and they have since travelled to over 30 countries together.
