In the aftermath of the Scottish Referendum in September, politicians of all party colours have been promoting ideas for how they think the UK constitution needs to change. Some advocate separate parliaments for each UK nation; others suggest we need more regional representation in our cities and counties; others think the time has come for “English votes for English laws”. On Phil Williams’ programme from 10.30pm on Radio 5 live on Wednesday 5 November, we will look at three of the possibilities for democracy in England and explore the issues, hurdles and benefits surrounding them.
