As a child, growing up in India, Bhavani had severe asthma and the bowel condition Crohn's. She was too ill to go to school so studied at home and taught herself english by watching TV. She's now got a degree and would like to do a Phd. Carol is a former teacher who still works with young people creating projects to raise their aspirations and self esteem. She didn't always enjoy her time at school and talks to Bhavani about how their different educations have informed their own views on learning.
