World Update

Available for over a year

Is social media making young doctors too friendly with patients? New research in The Lancet Oncology suggests that younger doctors - who've grown up in the world of social media – are more friendly to their patients, but that this informal approach can make it more difficult for them to maintain objectivity and professionalism. Dan Damon hosts a discussion between Professor Lesley Fallowfield from Brighton and Sussex Medical School, one of the research leaders, and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ News correspondent Helen Fawkes, who is undergoing treatment for cancer.
