Fell running Rachel has had a taste of what life with a disability is like, when she broke her ankle recently, it's what Kate has had to live with since she contracted polio as a child. Her disability has made her unsteady on her feet, and falling over in public is an experience that's deeply embarrassing, and her friends know better than to offer her assistance.
