Kate and Rachel: It's Not A Bad Thing, To Ask For Help

The Listening Project

Available for over a year

Fell running Rachel has had a taste of what life with a disability is like, when she broke her ankle recently, it's what Kate has had to live with since she contracted polio as a child. Her disability has made her unsteady on her feet, and falling over in public is an experience that's deeply embarrassing, and her friends know better than to offer her assistance. But for Rachel, who injured herself whilst running on Dale Head, the prospect of dying of exposure meant she'd no choice but to blow her whistle, and hope that some one would come and rescue her. . . .
